LensWave Terms of Service (User Agreement)

Last updated: October 24, 2026 · Effective: October 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using LensWave ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, DMCA Policy, and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is an AI canvas editor subscription; generation is routed to third-party AI model providers. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date changes accordingly, and continued use after changes means acceptance.

2. The Service

LensWave provides a timeline-based canvas for storyboarding, project and asset management, templates, and video generation routed to third-party model providers. We operate the editing workspace and account system; the underlying video models are operated by independent third parties (e.g., Runway, LTX, Google Veo, Luma). We do not operate those models and do not guarantee their availability, output quality, or compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@lenswave.ai of any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

You may maintain only one personal account. Reselling accounts, automated account creation, or sharing paid subscription access with others is prohibited.

4. Model Provider API Keys: Your Responsibility

LensWave supports connecting an API key issued to you by a third-party model provider. When you use a provider key:

5. Acceptable Use — What You Must Not Do

You must not use LensWave to create, upload, publish, or distribute content that:

You must obtain all necessary consents and licenses before depicting any real person, logo, artwork, or third-party material. When you publish AI-generated content, you are responsible for adding required AI-content labels. You must not use LensWave outputs to train, fine-tune, distill, or build a competing generative-video model or service.

6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LensWave and its operators, affiliates, officers, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

7. Suspension and Termination of Accounts

We may issue a warning, suspend features, or suspend or permanently terminate your account if we determine, in good faith, that you have:

Process: For minor or first-time issues we may warn and restrict the specific content. For serious or repeated violations we may suspend or terminate immediately. Before permanent termination we will normally notify you by email and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond, except where immediate suspension is required by law, by a rights-holder request, or to prevent ongoing harm. You may appeal by emailing support@lenswave.ai.

Balance on termination: If we terminate your account for a violation, any unused paid subscription period and prepaid wallet balance are forfeited as liquidated damages and are not refundable; generation already consumed is not refundable. If you close your account yourself or we terminate without cause, unused prepaid wallet balance is refunded to the original payment method per our Refund Policy. Your project content may be deleted after termination; export what you need first.

8. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation

Auto-renewal: Paid subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. We charge the renewal fee to your payment method approximately 24 hours before the start of each new billing period, and we send a renewal reminder email before each charge showing the price and date.

How to cancel: You can cancel at any time without contacting support: open Settings → Account / Subscription in the app and click "Cancel subscription", or email support@lenswave.ai. Cancellation does not create a refund for the current period; it simply prevents the next renewal charge.

Effect of cancellation: Your paid benefits continue until the end of the period you have paid for, then the plan stops and no further charges are made. We never silently renew a canceled or expired plan. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, including the EU 14-day cancellation right for qualifying customers.

9. Intellectual Property and Your Outputs

You retain ownership of the scripts, shot lists, and reference materials you author. Subject to the model providers' own terms, you own the outputs you generate for lawful use. We use your project content only to render, generate, and export on your behalf; we do not display it externally except through a share link you create, and we do not use private project content to train general-purpose models.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service and AI outputs are provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a purpose. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Sanctions and Export Controls

The Service is not available to, and you may not use it if you are: (a) located, ordinarily resident, or organized in a comprehensively sanctioned country or territory (currently Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and other territories on the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or United Nations sanctions lists); or (b) a person or entity listed on the U.S. SDN List, the UN Security Council sanctions lists, or equivalent designated-person lists. As a preventive measure, our servers may block or restrict access from high-risk sanctioned-country IP ranges. If you become a sanctioned person or fall into a prohibited territory while using the Service, you must stop immediately. Breach of this Section is a material breach and results in immediate termination and forfeiture of balance per Section 7.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR), China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR. Where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence (including EU/EEA consumer law) cannot be excluded, that law applies to you as a consumer.
