1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. LensWave uses cookies and similar storage (localStorage) to run the service, remember your preferences, and — only with your consent — measure usage. You can control cookies as described in Section 4.

2. Categories and Purposes

CategoryCookie / storagePurposeConsent
Necessary Session token (byok_token), login state, CSRF/session cookies Keeps you logged in, secures requests, and stores your privacy choices. The service cannot function without these. Always on — cannot be switched off
Preferences lw_lang, lw_theme, lw_side_fold, lw_cookie_consent Remembers your language, visual theme, sidebar layout, and cookie choice so you don't set them on every visit. Consent required
Analytics Usage-event analytics (only after consent) Anonymous aggregated statistics on which features are used, to improve the product. We do not use advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking. Consent required — off by default

3. How We Ask for Consent

On your first visit to LensWave we show a cookie consent banner. Necessary cookies load regardless. Preference and analytics cookies are not loaded until you choose "Accept all" or enable them. You can click "Essential only" to keep the site working with necessary cookies only. Your choice is stored locally (lw_cookie_consent) and honored on later visits.

4. Managing and Withdrawing Consent

You can change your choice at any time:

We do not sell personal information via cookies and do not run third-party advertising cookies. For privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy or email support@lenswave.ai.
